Two matches played between 4 four teams and that was a really big day for the CCL 2016 fans, the first day of CCL 2016 witnessed the big target set by Mumbai Heroes as Punjab de Sher had to chase down a target of 223 runs.

While the 2nd match between Telugu Warriors and Punjab de Sher was also an interesting T20 game of Celebrity Cricket League in which Kerala Strikers made a comeback during a small moment of a match and Telugu Warriors proved them victorious against the same team defeated in final match of the Celebrity Cricket League 2015.
